Q : How to adjust the specular mapping on rusty surfaces?
A : To understand the answer of this question you should know several things. Actually smooth, polished, reflective and other similar surfaces have normally visible specular reflection. The specular reflection of rough surfaces such as rust is almost unnoticeable because the specular product is scattered in all directions. Therefore we only see the diffuse reflection. Adding specular mapping on rough surfaces is almost redundant and sometimes wrong. That's the reason why we didn't include specular maps in this collection.
